General Overview
Reebok treadmills are made under a license by Icon Health & Fitness, the largest manufacturer of home fitness equipment in the world which also makes Proform, Weslo, NordicTrack, HealthRider and Image treadmills.
Although they carry a famous and respected name, Reebok treadmills usually offer less in terms of quality then competing models from brands such as Smooth, Spirit, Trimline or Horizon. Still, Reebok treadmills are not bad machines and would be a good choice if you find them at a lowered price.
Proform is a subsidiary of Icon Health & Fitness, one of the world's largest exercise equipment manufacturers also responsible for Nordic Track, Image, Healthrider, Reebok, Weslo and Weider treadmills.
Reebok Treadmills are probably the most popular treadmills in the "less than $1000" price range. They usually have lots of features to make your exercise more interesting, but are somewhat lacking in the quality department.
Reebok RX 6200
With good cushioning, decent walking area and interesting features, Reebok RX 6200 would be a decent choice for walkers and light joggers if it's price was just a bit lower. If you are looking for a treadmill for around $1000, Horizon T53 and Smooth 5.15P are better choices, with stronger motors and better warranties. Reebok RX 6200
Reebok RX 7200
An upgraded version of RX 6200, Reebok RX 7200 has a stronger motor, more workout programs and even better, adjustable cushioning. The most interesting thing about it, though, is the price - you can get it at Fogdog for $999, a $100 less than RX 6200 at Icon!. Reebok RX 7200
Reebok v2500
Reebok V2500 looks like a good treadmill that could be a good choice for everyone but the most demanding runner. It has all the bells and whistles that you might need and it's running deck is extra long to accomodate the tallest of the tall runners. The negative thing about Reebok V2500 is it's price - it puts it in direct competition with some really good models from strong brands such as Smooth, Spirit, Horizon and Trimline. Reebok v2500
Reebok v4500
For $200 more than V2500, Reebok V4500 gives you a stronger motor, higher maximum incline and 2 more workout programs. If you want the best from Reebok, an advanced treadmill with all the good features and iFIT technology, than this one is the one for you. Reebok v4500
Reebok v1700
Reebok V1700 is a well-rounded treadmill, capable of serving walkers, joggers and light runners. The only thing that comes in quesion is for how long will this machine serve you? Reebok is an Icon subsidiary which is known for low quality parts. They improved their motors recently and lowered their prices, but that wont help much if the quality doesn't improve.
